City Sightseeing in Karlstad!
The Karlstad Sightseeing train takes you on two guided tours. The train runs along the Klarälven river and through the city. Here you get to experience interesting tourist attractions and exciting stories.
The train is available a few more days during the autumn: Sept 17-18 and 24-25, and Oct 1. We will drive every day from 10.00 to 16.00.
The train is available for rent all year, email us your request and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The city tour (red arrows) goes through the oldest part of Karlstad. Along the river Klarälven fine old buildings remain after the big fire in 1865.
The journey continues towards Mariebergsviken and Stadsträdgården and our new district, Inner Harbor. We pass Karlstad's old prison on our way back to the town square.
The river tour (blue arrows) goes towards Sundsta along the river and the beautiful stone arch bridge. Then the trip goes through the old town of Haga and the barge canal.Then we pass Sandgrundsudden where you will find Lerin's art gallery and Värmlands Museum. The tour ends passing our city hotel "Stadshotellet" before we return to the town square.

In the kiosk you can also buy ice cream, soda, coffee and other treats.
Payment by card, Swish or cash.
Tickets are purchased at the Sightseeing Kiosk at the town square by the City Hall.
Rent the Train!
A fun activity for the corporate party, the jubilee, the wedding, the bachelor/bachelorette party or other parties!
Price per hour: SEK 3,500 for up to 35 guests, more guests require additional fee of SEK 100 per person. Capacity to take up to 60 guests.
Half-day rental (9 am - 1 pm, 1 pm - 5 pm or evening) for up to 60 persons: SEK 9 900
Full-day rental (max. 7 hours) for up to 60 persons: SEK 14 900
Prices are based on the town square in Karlstad as departure point.
If you have any other requests, contact us for price information. Minimum fee for pick up elsewhere is SEK 500. Prices ex. VAT 6%.
